Claims should be reported directly to Protector Insurance unless otherwise agreed with your broker. It is important to submit your claim as soon as possible.
You can submit a claim directly via our websites. When you submit a claim, you will receive an immediate response with confirmation that we have received your claim, a claim number, information about excess and other relevant details. We will then contact you within one working day.

Are you dissatisfied with the handling of your claim?
If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your claim or settlement amount, you are welcome to submit a complaint. However, we recommend that you first contact your claims handler to see if the problem can be resolved directly.
Protector’s appellate body
In the event that you cannot reach an agreement with your claims handler, you can submit your complaint to our central appellate body via e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
External appellate body
If you wish to present your complaint to an external appellate body, contact The Norwegian Financial Services Complaints Board (FINKN), which is the Norwegian complaints board for insurance, banking, securities funds and financing.
